The Queen Studio I stayed in was cozy, and the complimentary breakfast was surprisingly tasty, a great way to start the day! I enjoyed lounging by the outdoor pool and appreciated having a barbecue area for some evening grilling fun. The only downside was the lack of bottled water in the room upon arrival, but overall, I had a wonderful experience! 🌟

I recently spent two nights at the Residence Inn in San Diego. The front desk staff were very helpful during check-in. The lobby looked beautiful and inviting. My room had all the necessary amenities, along with a comfortable bed. I liked the kitchenette. it had a full-sized fridge and cookware, which made meal prep easy. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered a decent variety. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Gaslamp district, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants and nightlife. However, there were some issues. Parking was expensive at $65 per night. On two occasions, loud music from nearby bars kept me up late. The breakfast hours felt too early. it ended at 9 AM, which was tough after a late night. Additionally, the gym and pool could be bigger since they felt cramped. Though the room was generally clean, it had a slight damp smell that wasn't very pleasant. I loved the ambiance and convenience of the hotel, but the noise and parking costs were real downsides.

Though the location is fantastic with many dining options nearby, the room could use some improvements. The furniture felt a bit cheap, and cleanliness left something to be desired, especially with some lingering odors. However, the helpful staff and convenient amenities made the overall experience enjoyable.

Couple looking for a decent stay
I had a memorable interaction with the front desk staff who genuinely seemed to care about making my stay the best it could be. Plus, they had homemade cookies waiting at reception that reminded me of my mom's baking!
Sure, it wasn't inexpensive, but it was tolerable enough for what I experienced overall.
